This Privacy Policy describes how CAPS CRM ("we", "our", or "us")
collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mobile application
(CAPS CRM, package name: com.capscrm.caps_app) and
related services.
When you log in, we collect your email address, password (transmitted securely and never stored in plain text), and your company domain. These are used solely to authenticate you with your organization's CAPS CRM account.
We collect basic device information including your device model and device name. This is used to register your device for push notifications and to support multi-device account access.
We use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to deliver push notifications about leads, quotes, and orders assigned to you. A unique FCM token is generated by your device and sent to our servers when you log in. This token is removed from our servers when you log out.
The app uses address information (city, state) entered by you to calculate shipping routes and distances using third-party mapping services (OpenStreetMap Nominatim and OSRM). We do not collect or store your device's GPS location. Address data entered for route calculations is processed in real time and is not stored beyond the active session.
You may upload files (documents, images) to leads and orders. These files are transmitted securely to our servers and stored as part of your organization's CRM records. Downloaded attachments are saved to your device's private app storage.
The app accesses and displays business data associated with your account, including leads, quotes, orders, customer details, and internal notes. This data belongs to your organization and is governed by your agreement with CAPS CRM.
Authentication tokens and session credentials are stored using encrypted secure storage on your device (Android Keystore). We use industry-standard HTTPS encryption for all data transmitted between the app and our servers. We do not store passwords in plain text at any point.
Your data is stored on servers associated with your organization's CAPS CRM account. We retain data for as long as your account is active or as required to provide services to your organization.

CAPS CRM is a business application intended for use by adults in a professional capacity. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18.
